Description: This is a sketch of the ruins of the castle of Salvatierra and the convent of Calatrava. The castle is located in the province of Ciudad Real, Spain. It was built in the 13th century and was once a stronghold of the Knights of Calatrava. The convent was founded in the 12th century and was home to a community of Cistercian monks. Both the castle and the convent were abandoned in the 19th century and are now in ruins.
