Description: The Triptych of Willem Moreel is an oil on oak triptych painted by the Early Netherlandish painter Hans Memling. It was commissioned by Willem Moreel, a wealthy merchant and civic official in Bruges, and his wife Barbara van Vlaenderberch. The central panel shows the Virgin and Child enthroned in a garden with two angels making music. The left panel shows Moreel and his wife kneeling in prayer, and the right panel shows their two sons, Willem and Jacob.
