Description: Ginevra de’ Benci is a portrait by the Italian Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci, painted in c. 1474-1478. The painting is in oil on a walnut panel, and measures 38.2 by 37.8 centimetres (15.0 by 14.9 in). The sitter is depicted in front of a juniper bush, wearing a green dress with a red undersleeve. She is holding a juniper branch in her right hand, and her left hand is resting on her hip. The painting is now in the collection of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
