Description: This is a drawing of a rhinoceros byAlbrecht Durer. It is believed to be one of the first European depictions of a rhinoceros. The rhinoceros was sent to Portugal by the Sultan of Cambay as a gift for King Manuel I. Durer probably drew this in 1515 when the rhinoceros was brought to Antwerp.
