Description: In the summer of 1902, Klimt painted a series of landscapes in Unterach on the Attersee. In these works, he devoted himself entirely to the depiction of nature. The present work shows a dense grove of birches. The slender trunks of the trees are closely spaced, allowing only a few glimpses into the depths of the forest.
