Description: The Charity of Saint Nicolas is a tempera and gold on panel painting by the Italian artist Ambrogio Lorenzetti. It was painted in about 1332 and is now in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. The painting depicts the story of Saint Nicholas of Bari secretly providing dowries for three impoverished sisters so that they could marry.
