Description: In 1979, Wu Guanzhong traveled to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and was impressed by the magnificent scenery there. returning, he created a series of works based on his impressions of the Three Gorges. “High Gorge Out of Flat Lake” is one of them. In this painting, Wu Guanzhong used a variety of colors to depict the majestic cliffs and rolling waves of the Three Gorges. The boats on the river and the houses on the shore are dotted in a scattered manner, adding a sense of life to the painting.
