Description: The ceiling fresco of Hercules and Antaeus was painted by Andrea Pozzo between 1704 and 1708. The fresco depicts the myth of Hercules fighting Antaeus, a giant who was invincible as long as he touched the ground. Hercules defeated Antaeus by lifting him into the air and crushing him in his arms.
