Description: This portrait shows Infanta Isabel de Borbon, the eldest daughter of King Henry IV of France and his second wife, Marie de’ Medici. She was betrothed to her first cousin, Infante Felipe of Spain, the son of King Philip III, in 1612, and moved to Madrid in 1615 to be raised at the Spanish court. She married Philip in 1615, and became queen consort in 1621.
