Description: This is a pen and brown ink drawing over black chalk by Agostino Carracci. The drawing is preparatory for a painting by his cousin Annibale Carracci, Seated Nude Man (ca. 1592-93; Galleria Nazionale, Parma). The painting is part of a series of four commissioned by Cardinal Odoardo Farnese for the decoration of the Camerino (small room) of his palace in Rome.
