Description: Sir Henry Sheehy Keating (1780-1847) was an Irish soldier, lawyer, and politician. He served in the British Army during the Napoleonic Wars and was knighted in 1813. He later became a lawyer and was appointed a judge of the Court of King’s Bench in Ireland in 1831. He was also a member of the Irish House of Commons from 1807 to 1813 and from 1832 to 1835.
