Description: The Allegory of Fire is a large oil on canvas painting by Spanish Baroque artist Antonio Palomino. It is part of a series of four paintings representing the four elements, commissioned by Queen Mariana of Austria for the decoration of the Buen Retiro Palace in Madrid.
