Description: The Judgment of Paris is a painting by the Italian artist Alessandro Allori. The painting depicts the moment when Paris, a Trojan prince, is asked by the goddess Eris to choose the most beautiful of three goddesses: Aphrodite, Athena, and Hera. Paris chooses Aphrodite, who promises him the love of Helen of Troy. The painting is a masterpiece of the Renaissance period and is now on display in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
