Description: The Libyan Sibyl is a fresco by the Italian Renaissance artist Michelangelo that forms part of the Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted c. 1508-1510. It is one of a series of seven prophet and sibyl pairs that decorate the spandrels above the lunettes on the chapel’s long walls.
