Description: The Libyan Sibyl is a fresco by the Italian Renaissance artist Michelangelo that forms part of the Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted c. 1511-1512. It is one of a series of seven prophet and sibyl pairs that decorate the lunettes above the windows on the long sides of the chapel.
