Description: The Virgin and Child with Saints and Donors is a painting by the Italian artist Francesco Bissolo, dating to around 1510. The work is in oil on panel, and measures 165 by 147 centimeters. It depicts the Virgin Mary enthroned with the Christ Child on her lap, flanked by two saints and two donors. The left-hand saint is a male figure, possibly Saint Jerome, while the saint on the right is a female figure, possibly Saint Catherine of Alexandria. The donors are depicted kneeling on either side of the Virgin and Child. The man on the left is dressed in a black and red tunic, while the woman on the right is dressed in a red and white dress. The painting is set in a landscape with a mountainous background.
