Description: The Wedding at Cana is a large oil painting by the Italian Renaissance artist Paolo Veronese. It was painted in 1562-1563 for the refectory (dining hall) of the Benedictine monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, where it remains today. The painting depicts the biblical story of the Marriage at Cana, in which Jesus turns water into wine.
