Description: Tilla Durieux (1880-1971) was a German actress who was a member of Max Reinhardt’s troupe in Berlin. She was married to the Austrian writer and satirist Karl Kraus from 1911 to 1926. In 1933, she fled Nazi Germany for Paris, where she lived until her death.
